ZYFA is interested in adding online registration for our 2009 season.  It looks like there is an online registration feature mentioned in the Admin area of our website, can you provide more information about what's involved in setting it up?  Also, do you facilitate getting us setup with a merchant account to accept credit cards?

You bet.  Yes, there is a full featured online registration system already built into your site.  It has been there for years.  It can be used with mail in check, or credit card.  If used with credit card, it is most useful and automated when connecting to a full blown gateway.  We help you get those accounts.  We then connect them to your website and everything is automated.  Registrars and treasurers can just watch the system run.  It can also be used with PayPal, but it is not as fully automated when using PayPal.

Costs for a full gateway and merchant account are about $33 per month for the banks' statement fee, and about 2.1% plus 25 cents per transaction.  PayPal has no monthly fee, but they charge 2.9% and about 35 cents per transaction.

If you wish to proceed, the next step is for us to send you an online registration questionnaire.  In that questionnaire you give us the info we need to customize the application to meet your needs.  You can then also indicate if you want to accept credit cards.  Once we get the questionnaire back, we will work with you to get the needed accounts.

Sounds great-- please send me the questionnaire and details about the merchant account?  Also, do you have the ability to give us a brief demo of what the registration pages might look like? 

One other question-- our website has looked pretty much the same for the past several years.  What are our options to "refresh" the look and feel?  I don't think we need a total re-write, but I'd like to give it a facelift.  Please advise?

I will email you an online registration questionnaire later today when I get back to a computer that has that form on it.  I will also send you a features sheet at that time.  The features sheet outlines all features on the site, including the online registration feature and payment options.

As to website design, you can send along your enhancement ideas, or you can select from one of our templates via our website at www.mystifyyourweb.com.  We also have graphic artists you can work with, but than is an additional charge.  We will be releasing a new sports focused template in the next 2 weeks.  You can change to that for no additional charge.  Another idea is that we just completed a new Flash based feature that lets you upload photos that rotate and transition via a Flash movie in your site.  For example, the two images in the upper right corner could be replaced with this feature.  That lets you swap out photos anytime you wish.  Just a few thoughts.
